Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to perform the duties related to betting ring and internet wagering activity of a betting supervisor at race meetings. The unit applies to authorised racing officials who apply high-level mathematical skills to effectively monitor and interpret wagering information associated with greyhound, harness or thoroughbred race meetings.Greyhound, harness and thoroughbred racing are strictly regulated throughout Australia. All stewards are appointed under the rules of racing by the relevant controlling body or Principal Racing Authority (PRA). Users are advised to check with the relevant PRA for requirements. No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
